Concrete Delivery for Concrete Replacement on the Train Tracks in Jersey City
Challenge
Quality 1st Concrete received a call from Tracks Unlimited in need of a concrete delivery. The concrete near the tracks of a section of the railroad were cracking and needed to be removed and replaced. They contacted Quality 1st because they were unsure how much concrete they would actually need and knew that since we mix the concrete fresh on site, they would only pay for what they used. They wanted a reputable company that they could count on to arrive on time and delivery exactly what they needed to get the job completed on time to prevent any travel delays.
Solution
Our Concrete Coordinator, Brenda was able to help Truck Unlimited, order the correct PSI of concrete and schedule a delivery time that worked best for them. Carlos, our Concrete Supervisor loaded the truck with the correct materials to create the perfect concrete mix for the railroad tracks. Using the special equipment on the truck, Carlos was able to create the perfect thickness of concrete needed.
