Quality Concrete was out to make a delivery in Woodbridge, NJ for our Contracting Division. The Contracting Crew was replacing sidewalks and walkways at a community, and needed a few yards of concrete to perform the replacement. The Contracting Coordinator placed the order and provided the Concrete Dispatcher with all the information needed for the pour.
Carlos, Senior Concrete Specialist, was out to make the deliver. He brought 10 yards of 4500 PSI concrete to the job site. When Carlos arrived, the areas that needed to be replaced were nicely framed and formed out. Fresh concrete was mixed at the job site and poured into the walkway and sidewalk areas. Some sections were behind the buildings, so wheel barrows were used to transport the concrete. As Carlos poured, the Contracting Crew floated and finished the concrete. Once all the concrete was out of the truck, Carlos made sure to wash the chute so it could be used at his next delivery. The job was completed in a timely manner and the sidewalks and walkways were successfully replaced.
